Hello.
Welcome to the home of Peyton Talbott III. I am an Advertising Creative Director & Designer who specializes in both Traditional and Interactive mediums. With over 30 years of experience in Advertising and Marketing... Brand Strategy and Brand Image are the driving force behind all the work I do. It doesn't matter if I'm working at the creative end of the spectrum or the technical, building a brand is a creative process that never stops.

The work you'll find on this website is only a sample of the many hats I've worn over the years. While there is a variety of project types shown here, the reality is that I see all of them as directly related. Whether it's a traditional print piece, tv spot, website or mobile app, my focus is about delivering a creative and consistent message across all mediums that makes the brand shine.
My primary objective is to lead or be part of a team which delivers amazing work that capitalizes on the marriage of brand with mobile, web, print and video.

Mobile Apps are a key component to advertising technology today. Whether available on the App Store, Google Play, or direct download from a server, Mobile Apps offer a unique opportunity to reach customers. I have designed and programmed both Native and Hybrid Mobile Apps for IOS and Android Expanded functionality like iBeacons, Augmented Reality, GEOLocation and Wayfinding, retail POS and credit card

swiping, custom-built mobile demonstrations and an endless list of other possibilities are part of my skillset.

As with any advertising medium, the key is Brand Awareness and Brand Positioning. With a close eye on these principles, Mobile Apps become a powerful vehicle for advancing the marketing strategy.

The capabilities of the The Shaker Village Virtual Assistant app empower the visitor with a remarkable set of features to make them an expert on Shaker Village of Pleasantville during their first visit.

Feature Overview
Dynamic Content

Through a custom database and interface I created for Wordpress, Shaker Village is able to manage the content of the app and make current event announcements by just making edits to Wordpress.

The current event calendar on the website provides a vehicle for information on events happening while visitors are in the park or outside the park.

iBeacons

As visitors move throughout Shaker Village, there are many locations and special points of interest they don’t want to miss. Once installed, the visitor receives push

notifications, images, history, and other content showcasing the location where they are standing in the park. This feature is made possible by use of Bluetooth iBeacons Programming.

Augmented Reality
Similar to iBeacons, there are many Augmented Reality triggers throughout Shaker Village. When a visitor finds an AR trigger in the park, they simply open the app and scan the trigger image using the app; and the app will display the special content associated with the trigger. Whether a location, exhibit, special event, or a seasonal surprise, this is a great way to hide easter eggs anywhere in the park for the visitors to discover.

Selfie Frames
Taking the selfie to the next level, visitors can customize pictures they take in the park with the Selfie Postcard feature. Visitors can choose from a number of frame styles to apply to any image in their

photos by taking a new photo
in the park. New frame artwork can
be added through the admin area described below.

Campus Wayfinding
As large as the Shaker Village campus is, it’s easy to get lost. However, if you have the Virtual Assistant, the device will not only find your location in the park; but it will plot directions for you to any point of interest on campus from your location. Perfect for a guided tour, or just taking a leisurely stroll through the landmarks.

Admin Area

All these features require a way for Shaker Village to update the information and keep the content current that is presented to the visitor. To do this, I created a set of web pages that allow for updates to the Visitor App through a set of forms; which communicate with an online database where the content is stored. Then, the new content is streamed to the app on the visitor’s device when the app is opened.

Introducing PromPAL, an IOS/Android mobile app designed to help the shopper systematically locate the perfect prom dress.

Relying on geolocation, real-time inventory updates, and appointment scheduling, PromPAL makes shopping for a prom dress quick and easy by connecting with nearby stores, displaying the latest fashion choices, and providing vendors with comprehensive order management capabilities.

Feature Overview
Dynamic Content
Through a custom database and interface I created in Wordpress, the PromPAL app relies on the posts made and edited by the vendors to customize their inventory and messaging throughout the app.

How it works for the shopper
1) Download PromPAL from the App Store.

2) Create an account in the PromPAL app.

3) The PromPAL app locates the closest stores based on the zip code the shopper supplies.

4) Browse through the dresses that are available at the selected store’s inventory...and add the dresses you like to your dressing room. You can filter the dresses by size, color, style, and price.

5) You can also share your dressing room with other PromPAL users and out on social media.

6) If you want to try on a dress before you buy it, you can schedule a fitting. Simply tap on the "Schedule Fitting" button. Select a date and time that works for you. The store’s calendar will now display your appointment...and notify the store.

7) If you have any questions about a dress or the fitting process, you can contact the store through the app's direct messaging feature.

8) If you find a dress that you like and want to alter it yourself, you can just purchase it through the app and pick it up later.

How it works for the store
1) After creating a PromPAL account at the Store Manager website, populate your account with dresses and other inventory for the shoppers nearby.

2) Inside the store manager website, you can view your calendar to see what Shoppers have scheduled fittings. The shoppers are pre-qualified when they made their PromPAL account...so they are genuine. If there is a scheduling conflict, you can contact The shopper directly by phone or send them a direct message through the app.

3) You can also review all your shopper dressing rooms to see which dress styles have been visited and bookmarked the most.
